5^th to 12^th December –	Art Exhibition – 3 Manifestations of Aphrodite… Opening at 6.30pm on the 5^th December at the Ismet Gunay Art Centre, Nicosia (next to the Kaimakli Post Office) with viewing during normal Government hours until 12^th December…
12^th December – Friday	Auction of Promises in aid of SPOT…. Pine Bay Hotel, Alsancak at 7pm….. Food available…
12^th December – Friday	If you are looking for books for Christmas you will find Steve Sydenham at Sirinyali Restaurant in Karsiyaka between 9am and 3pm with many titles to choose from…. When you get to Karsiyaka Square turn right….. The restaurant is well signposted from the square….. Drive to the end of the road by the sea.
13^th December – Saturday	The NCCCT Christmas Bazaar will be held at the Pia Bella Hotel, Girne, starting at 11am…..Many stalls selling a variety of Christmas items…..Tombola, Raffle. Coffee and refreshments….10TL entrance… Proceeds to NCCCT…… A chance to do some Christmas shopping and help a good cause….
14^th December – Sunday	St Andrew’s Church – 6pm…Service of 9 Lessons and carols in the Church followed by mulled wine and mince pies in the Church Hall.
~~14^th December – Sunday~~ Cancelled	Due to heavy rain and a water logged pitch, the match will now be played on Sunday 21st December. TRNC Cricket Club will be playing at the Pia Bella Sports Ground and the match will be against the Famagusta Moufflons. The match will start at 11am and will be the 30 over-side game, decider for the Creditwest North Cyprus League Trophy. Why not go along and cheer our team on.
14^th November to 20^th DecemberTuesday to Sunday	Photography Exhibition by The Centre of Visual Arts & Research – A Tribute to Norwegian Photography…. One Day in History by Andrea Gjestvang and Echoes by Hebe Robinson…..Tuesday to Sunday from 9.30am to 4.30pm….. The exhibition will be at 285 Ermou Street, 2207 Nicosia…. 14^th December – Sunday	Blue Song Restaurant, Lapta will be going Pink for Tulips….From 6pm there will be a Gourmet Buffet with minimum of 12 dishes for 20TL per person with 5TL being donated to Tulips… Entertainment by Katie B and Pete Murray….Table Top Quiz, Raffle…. 17^th December – Wednesday	KADS will be performing a murder/mystery event “Who Sleighed Santa” at Santoria Holiday Village, Alsancak at 7.30pm….The event will be in aid of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips) and will be 40TL per person with a 3-course meal…..Tickets are available from Lambousa Saturday Market and The Food Lodge, Catalkoy….For further information please call 0533 872 4573

18^th December – Thursday Note new starting time	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 6.30pm you can enjoy It’s a Wonderful Life (1946)…. 12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. 18^th December – Thursday	An evening of Christmas music with the Torch Woodwind Quartet at Karaman Church starting at 7.30pm, performances also by Fikri Toros and Katie Economidou…. Complimentary mulled wine in the interval…. 20^th December – Saturday	The Umut (Hope) Orchestra will be giving a concert at Near East University starting at 8pm. The event is being sponsored by Kuzey Kibris Turkcell. Entrance fee 15TL.

25^th December – Thursday	There will be a Christmas swim at Shayna Beach at 10am in aid of 3 charities – KAR, Tulips and the Special Needs School in Karakum…. Shayna Beach sponsoring breakfast with proceeds to the 3 charities…. Sponsor forms can be obtained from the various charity outlets.Another Christmas Swim will be at Kervansaray Beach in aid of Tulips at 11am.
