My North Cyprus walk to make a

difference for unwanted animals

 By Ergün Güçlüer

Since my first article appealing for help in re-homing unwanted dogs click here another opportunity presents itself to help others less fortunate than ourselves. There is an easy choice to turn your back Ergun Gucluerand let it be someone else’s problem or to do the right thing and make a difference when it is in your hands to do so.

Street dogs and cats are a huge problem in North Cyprus, abandoned puppies and kittens are just dumped on the side of busy roads, whilst older animals wander around looking for the next meal, it is heart breaking.

There is so much needed from knitted jackets for the abandoned puppies to keep warm, to injections, food and kennels.

I am undertaking a sponsored 500km walk to raise £2000 for charity.  I will keep walking until my target is met.  Monies will go to feed, vaccinate, neuter strays without homes this winter.  The money raised will also help support foster owners until forever homes can be found.

Please sponsor me on my marathon walk and help these poor animals off the streets and into the warm.

£5.00 will feed a dog for a week
£10.00 will inject them against Parvo and Distemper
£50.00 will neuter a dog

My campaign has now received £1022.00 in donations and I have now walked 492km in 38 days.

Please share this message to raise awareness and Donate to gofund.me/geb0cg and help me make a difference. If you prefer you can make a donation by Paypal by clicking here.

Do please visit my Facebook page click here to see details of my progress on this marathon I have undertaken.
