This week my Vox Pop show will be of interest to animal lovers and those who are concerned for the plight of homeless street animals.

I will be talking to Ergün Güçlüer who took on the challenge of trying to re-home two dogs Fric and Frac after a colleague was told his work permit would not be renewed and his services were no longer required and he had to leave the TRNC.

Through this experience Ergün became very aware of the huge problem of unwanted street animals in the TRNC and decided he wanted to do something and would undertake a sponsored 500km walk to raise £2000 for charity and will continue this until he reaches his target.
