3^rd to 9^th October………Friday to Thursday	Exhibition of paintings at the Public Library Kyrenia… The opening ceremony will be at 6.30pm on 3^rd October by Dr Sibel Siber….Exhibition open from 10am to 1pm and 3pm to 7pm from 4^th to 9^th October….Paintings by the “Tuesday Group” – Cynthia Bratton, Muriel Clutton, Michael Raine, Christine Venediger…
10th October – Friday	RBL will be having a Beetle Drive at The Olive Press Bowling Club in Lapta starting at 7.30pm.
10^th October – Friday	Bollywoods in Karakum will be holding a Rod Stewart Tribute….50TL per person which includes a 2-course meal….. To book a table contact Hussain on 0533 848 2010……….This sounds like a good night for all those Rod Stewart fans.
11th October – Saturday	BRS Blood Donor Day at The Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak…. 10am to 1pm…
11^th October – Saturday	Talks for Tulips at the Pia Bella Hotel, Girne… 10.30 to 12noon 10TL per session…. Free tea/coffee…. Introduction to Yoga by Stephanie Harrison-Croft…….Reservations through Jane on 0542 882 6063
12^th October – Sunday	TRNC Cricket Club will be holding their first game of the season at the Pia Bella Sports Ground, Girne….For further information contact Nigel Holman on 0533 824 8999 or email nigel@nigelholman.com
12^th October – Sunday	Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak… Starting at 2pm – Afternoon tea – sandwiches, cake and tea in the garden…. 12^th October – Sunday	Bellapais Abbey at 7.30pm…. Piano Recital with 14 pianists – students of Rauf Kasimov.
13th October – Monday	RBL Quiz Night at 7pm – Deniz Kizi Hotel.
13th October – Monday	Dogankoy Church will be holding a talk by Col John Hughes-Wilson entitled “The Strange Life and Death of Marilyn Monroe” starting at 7pm….A donation towards the upkeep of the church would be appreciated…Places are limited so please reserve a seat through Paula Shirley on 0533 830 3256 or by email to paula.shirley@hotmail.com
14^th October – Tuesday	The next NCCCT Coffee Morning will be held at The Savoy in Girne from 10.30am to 12’ish. Always a popular event and a good fundraiser for this worthy charity.
14^th October – Tuesday	Men Meet at St Andrew’s Church Hall at 11am…. Talk by Edward Barrett – “Lunch with the Queen”…. Following the talk there will be lunch at a local cafe.

15^th October – Wednesday	Ozankoy Bookshop will be holding a Christmas Card Making event in aid of Tulips….. The sessions will be 10.30am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 4pm…. Lunch is available – please book with Barbara Burton on 0542 865 7916…
16^th October – Thursday	Tulips Pink Month…. Jessic’s Bar, Karsiyaka will be holding a charity auction and also a raffle with many prizes…. Food available at 22TL with 5TL donated to Tulips from each meal….To see full information about this and other pink month events click here…
16^th October – Thursday	The Fez, Catalkoy will be holding an Alternative Quiz in aid of KAR, starting at 7.30pm… 25TL including Chicken & Chips in a Basket….Tickets from Mick 0533 877 4537 or The Fez 0533 867 1781.
16^th October – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 8pm you can enjoy The African Queen (1951) …12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available….There will be a prize on the night for the best prop associated with the movie….To book call 0533 839 8764…
17^th October – Friday	Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services will be holding a 60’s Night at Le Chateau Lambousa, starting at 7.30pm…. 60TL includes a Chicken and Chips supper and all local drinks…. 19^th October – Sunday	Race Night at Remzi’s Restaurant in Esentepe by the Esentepe Fun Run and Ramble 2015 in aid of Tulips….. 19^th and 20^th October. Sunday and Monday	Dogankoy Church – there will be an Art & Craft Exhibition with the work of Jean Howells and Philomena Miles. The exhibition will be from 11am to 4pm each day.
20^th October – Monday	Tulips Pink Month….Join Raziye Kocaismail of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips) in her annual march to the Government Offices….. Starting at Kyrenia Gate at 10am…To see full information about this and other pink month events click here…
22^nd October – Wednesday	Talks for Tulips at Pia Bella Hotel, Girne 10.30 to 12noon 10TL per session…. Free tea/coffee….Introduction to Reflexology by Maxine Callaghan..

Starting at 8pm you can enjoy Educating Rita (1963) …12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. 24^th October – Friday	Tulips Pink Month… Wherever you are on this day wear something pink, it doesn’t matter what and donate 5TL to Tulips….. 24^th October – Friday	The Olive Press in Lapta will be holding a charity night in aid of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips). Entry is 5TL which will be donated to Tulips. There will be a Spot the Intro quiz and possibly a raffle. Try and get a team together for this event.
25^th October – Saturday	Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak will be having a Children’s Halloween Party from 3pm to 6pm…35TL for drinks and a buffet…. Children’s places must be booked by contacting Vicki on 0533 835 5133 or email theblackolivecafe@gmail.com….Parents are welcome after 6pm!!
26^th October – Sunday	Corner House, Ozankoy. Sunday 26^th October from 12noon…. Bikers, Burgers and Beers…..Bar opens at 12noon and the Bikers will be arriving at about 1pm. There will be entertainment by Blue Tears…. Fully stocked bar and plenty of food to feed an army….. For more information call 0533 845 3465 (English) or 0542 852 5258 (Turkish). This is always a great event.
26^th October – Sunday	The Wild Duck will be holding an event in aid of Hope4Pets North Cyprus…. This is for the street animals of North Cyprus…. Donations of food, bedding etc. would be greatly appreciated…. Why not go along and see if you can help.
27^th October – Monday – Note New Venue	The Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services have a new venue – The Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak, for their monthly Quiz Night which has a theme of the 60’s….This will start at 7.30pm and there will be supper for 15TL….To book contact Brenda on 0533 840 7834 or Jenny on 0533 876 1483…..
27^th October – Monday	Dogankoy Church – you can attend a talk by Claire Morley who will be sharing her experiences whilst helping hurricane victims in the Philippines…. This will be at 3pm in the afternoon.
30^th October – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 8pm you can enjoy One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (1975) …12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available….There will be a prize on the night for the best prop associated with the movie….To book call 0533 839 8764…

1st November – Saturday	RBL Poppy Walk starting at 11am at JK’s Bar, Lapta.More details later.
7th November – Friday	RBL Poppy Ball – 7pm at the Savoy Hotel, Girne…. Dress of WW1 period (optional) or Black Tie.More details to follow later.
7^th to 13^th November Friday to Thursday	Golden Isle International Film Festival…. Various locations throughout North Cyprus… Full programme to be published shortly.
9th November – Sunday	Remembrance Service at the Old British Cemetery, Girne. 12.30pm…. Followed by lunch at The Ship Inn at 2pm.More details to follow later.
11^th November – Tuesday	NCCCT will be holding their November Coffee Morning at Di Figaro in Karaoglanoglu, starting at 10.30am….. This is a lovely venue with plenty of parking space… There will be many stalls there and a chance to start Christmas shopping.
13^th November – Thursday	Al Shaheen in Karakum will be having entertainment with Devon singing his Country Music. If you have not seen Devon perform this is a must see as you will be certain of a good night.
14^th November – Friday	Phoenix Line Dance Club and Kibris Line Dance Society will be co-hosting a Charity Fundraising event at Club Simena in Lapta in aid of the Karakum Special Needs School…. You can look forward to seeing Devon performing his brilliant Country Music and there will be open dance sessions and dance workshops by Choreographer/Line Dance instructor, Ivonne Verhagen………. 15^th November – Saturday	Fine Dining Restaurant in Esentepe will be having entertainment with Devon singing his Country Music. If you have not seen Devon perform this is a must see as you will be certain of a good night.
15^th and 16^th November…Saturday and Sunday	Dogankoy Church will be holding an Art Exhibition showing the work of Francois Moncomble, together with a book-signing by Yvonne Çerkiz of her book “Rauf Denktaş – A Private Portrait”…. This will take place between 11am and 4pm each day…. There will also be a raffle with 50% being donated to the church restoration fund.
16^th November – Sunday	Big Al’s in Iskele will be having entertainment with Devon singing his Country Music. If you have not seen Devon perform this is a must see as you will be certain of a good time.
24^th November – Monday	The Olive Press in Lapta will be holding a charity night in aid of the street animals. Entry is 5TL which will be donated to the cause. There will be a Spot the Intro quiz and possibly a raffle. Try and get a team together for this event.
29th November – Saturday	BRS Blood Donor Day at Girne State Hospital.
4^th December – Thursday	The RBL Theatre Players have been able to put together a show in lieu of the unfortunate cancellation of the pantomime with the theme – The Show Must Go On… This will now be a full 2-hour show called Showstoppers and will be held in the Ambassador Suite at Le Chateau Lambousa in Lapta….. It will now be for one night only and will start at 7.30pm….Tickets are 35TL and places are limited to 350 so RBL will be giving priority to those people who have already purchased tickets for the pantomime….To make a reservation contact Andrew Cowley on 0533 883 0445 or email pantomime.rbl@gmail.com or you can reserve a seat at the RBL stall at the Lambousa Saturday market.
8th December – Monday	RBL Quiz Night at 7pm – Deniz Kizi Hotel.
