World Animal Day at KAR

All too often with the pressure of life and commitments, we can perhaps all lose sight of issues and areas where we can perhaps take a breath reach out and do some good and this opportunity has been brought by Kyrenia Animal Rescue who are looking for help and this is what they had to say in preparation for World Animal Day.
“Today is the time to think of all street animals, some are loved and cared for, some are not so lucky. Why not visit our rescue centre – take a dog for a walk, offer one a forever home or sponsor one of the dogs or cats in our care.
DINKY – a sweet loving girl who has been with us 2 years. She has been re-homed twice and returned to us twice through no fault of her own.
ELLIS – a cheeky girl who came in with her sister 18 months ago. She is a little bit of an escape artist!
HARRIS – came in as a small pup last summer with his 2 brothers. He would make someone a lovely companion.
JACKO – this handsome boy has been with us 6 years – he was dumped at the rescue centre when he was just a small pup.
ISA – just wants to be loved. Dumped at the centre in a box overnight.
LAMBSY – beautiful girl came in as a pup with 3 siblings. One was lucky enough to find a new home, the other 2 didn’t make it. She is still waiting for her forever home.
MARLEY – found recently with a neck wound as his owner had kept his collar on too tight. Typical retriever personality – very friendly and playful.
RAMBO – previously one of our Tag dogs. Managed to get bitten by a snake twice and was threatened with poisoning so he was brought back to the centre. A lovable giant.
SASHA – one of our latest arrivals, she was very skinny when she first came in. Very friendly – she deserves a loving home.
TIFFANY – came in last year with 7 puppies! They found homes, Tiffany is still waiting.”
