26^th September – Friday	StreetArt Bookstore and Cafe, Dogankoy have a special entertainment evening with Niyal Özturk from 9pm….There is also regular weekly entertainment on Wednesday evenings from 9pm and again on Saturday evenings at 9pm with Arkin & Ibrahim.
27th September – Saturday	BRS Blood Donor Day at Girne State Hospital…..10am to 1pm…
27^th September – Saturday	Coffee Morning in The Hermitage garden… 10am to 12 noon… Bring and buy sale, raffle. Everyone welcome…. All proceeds to church fund… For further information contact Win Smith on 0533 847 4104…Note The Harvest Festival Service will be held on 5th October at 10am at St Andrew’s Church
28^th September – Sunday	Altin Patiler Klubu will be holding a World Animal Day at the animal shelter in Nicosia (near the Customs Building)…. This is being held earlier than the official World Animal Day (4^th October) as it coincides with Bayram/Eid….The event starts at 10am and members and supporters will be taking the dogs for walks and playing with them to give a few hours love and attention….Please try to go along and give support….
29^th September – Monday	Dogankoy Church will be holding a talk by John Pole entitled “My Train Journey England to Istanbul” starting at 7pm….A donation towards the upkeep of the church would be appreciated…Places are limited so please reserve a seat through Paula Shirley on 0533 830 3256 or by email to paula.shirley@hotmail.com
29^th September – Monday	Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services will be holding their quiz night at the Habana Bar in Alsancak starting at 7.30pm…. 15TL includes a Chicken Curry or Vegetarian option….Prizes for the winning team and the wooden spoon for the team coming last. 30^th September – Tuesday	Tandem Paraglide in aid of KAR. Jacqueline will do the jump on her 70^th Birthday on behalf of her 11-stone Kangol – Digby Dog….Landing at around 12.15pm at the site behind Bell Foods….Please give support and sponsorship.
1^st October – Wednesday	Tulips Pink Month….. “Sail for Tulips”….Every Wednesday during October go along to Sardunya Bay and learn how to sail, kayak or paddleboard…. 50% of the fees charged will be donated to Tulips…To see full information about this and other pink month events click here…
1^st October – Wednesday / 2nd October – Thursday	Phoenix Line Dancers resume their beginners classes at Korineum Golf Club, Esentepe on 1^st October… 11am to 1pm….and at Acmenya Restaurant in Alsancak on 2^nd October…11am to 1pm…The classes will continue on these days and times….On Tuesdays the Intermediate/Improver classes are held at Acmenya Restaurant, Alsancak from 11am to 1pm each week….For more information about any of the classes please call Steve or Denise on 0533 876 3410.
2^nd October – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 8pm you can enjoy Cabaret (1972) …12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. 2^nd to 4^th October … Thursday to Saturday	Roots Ramblers are holding a Castle to Castle Challenge for those people who love walking…. You can do all of the route or part, whichever suits you…. 4^th October – Saturday	Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak. “A Day in Golden Atlantis”…. 11th October – Saturday	BRS Blood Donor Day at The Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak…. 10am to 1pm…
12^th October – Sunday	Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak… Starting at 2pm – Afternoon tea – sandwiches, cake and tea in the garden…. 14^th October – Tuesday	The next NCCCT Coffee Morning will be held at The Savoy in Girne from 10.30am to 12’ish. Always a popular event and a good fundraiser for this worthy charity.
16^th October – Thursday	Tulips Pink Month…. Jessic’s Bar, Karsiyaka will be holding a charity auction and also a raffle with many prizes…. Food available at 22TL with 5TL donated to Tulips from each meal….To see full information about this and other pink month events click here…

20^th October – Monday	Tulips Pink Month….Join Raziye Kocaismail of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips) in her annual march to the Government Offices….. Starting at Kyrenia Gate at 10am…To see full information about this and other pink month events click here…

24^th October – Friday	Tulips Pink Month… Wherever you are on this day wear something pink, it doesn’t matter what and donate 5TL to Tulips…..
