18^th September – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 8pm you can enjoy The Ladykillers (1955) …12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available….There will be a prize on the night for the best prop associated with the movie….To book call 0533 839 8764…
18^th September – Thursday	NCCCT will be holding a Race Night at Club Tropicana, Ozankoy,… First race starts at 6.30pm…. This will be followed by a short table quiz…. There will also be a raffle and live music entertainment with Gavin and Johnny Lee.
19^th September – Friday	Quiz Night at St Andrew’s Church Hall starting at 7pm…. 15TL donation includes supper and will be for the church funds….For further information or to book please contact Joan Standing on 0533 847 1022.
19^th September – Friday	SeAngle Bar, Catalkoy. Charity Night for the street dogs of North Cyprus, starting at 7pm… 10TL which will include snacks. There will be a table quiz and a raffle. Music will be provided by Jamie – The Man in Black……To book a place tel:: 0533 869 3834.
19^th September – Friday	The Black Olive Cafe – Ladies night starting at 7pm… Night market, photography, buffet 20TL….Danny will be showing ways to use photoshop to enhance and add effects to photos….To book a place contact Vicki on 0533 835 5133 or email theblackolivecafe@gmail.com….
20^th September – Saturday	The Food Lodge, Çatalköy. Moroccan Night – Buffet Dinner at 55TL, entertainment with belly dancing…. Limited places, tickets available at the Food Lodge.For further information tel: 0533 839 8764 or info@foodlodge.org.
20^th and 21^st September…Saturday and Sunday	Catalkoy Municipality will be holding the 5h Besparmak Festival…. There will be many events during the 2 days, well worth visiting the village….
20^th September – Saturday	Akdeniz Ayia Irini. 6pm… 1^st International Terracotta Symposium “Witnessing Living History”… 40 artists have been creating figurines etc. during the month and these will be exhibited on site or near the village church…. 21^st September – Sunday	Veni Vici in Lapta will be Cooking Pasta for Tulips. Minimum of 500 and hopefully up to 1000 pasta dishes will be cooked between 11am and 11pm. 5 pasta dishes to choose from including one vegetarian for 15TL, of which 10TL will be donated to Tulips. Eat in or take away….DJ Mike will be providing music in the evening…Go along with friends or as a team and help Veni Vici to achieve their goal. Who knows it may be a world record.
22^nd September – Monday	Dogankoy Church will be holding an exhibition of Richard Chamberlain’s photographs taken in Cyprus 1954/55 from 7pm to 8pm…. Unfortunately, Richard cannot be present but there will be an opportunity to obtain Richard’s 2015 Calendar and his 2 books, signed copies of which will all be available….A donation towards the upkeep of the church would be appreciated…For further information please contact Paula Shirley on 0533 830 3256 or by email to paula.shirley@hotmail.com
24^th September – Wednesday	Children in Need Foundation Supper Club at The Garden (opposite Colony Hotel)…. New Jersey Nights will be providing entertainment with the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and much more….There will be an auction for a complete kitchen worth £7,000 which has been donated by The Property Centre, Alsancak…. Viewing Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm…..3-course meal including all local and some imported spirits…. £55 per person.Tickets are available from reception at the Colony Hotel, DVD Shop Catalkoy and The Property Centre, Alsancak or contact Laurence Floyd on 0533 879 6892

1^st October – Wednesday	Tulips Pink Month….. “Sail for Tulips”….Every Wednesday during October go along to Sardunya Bay and learn how to sail, kayak or paddleboard…. 50% of the fees charged will be donated to Tulips…To see full information about this and other pink month events click here…
