Wedding Joy again at Dogankoy

Having been watching the refurbishment of the old Doğanköy Church, we have already written to show readers how this was renovated and made ready for Saturday 13th September, and with 
hours to spare the Church was ready and waiting for Angela Spencer-Culshaw and Leonard Todd to come together for a blessing by tying the knot in a very special Celtic wedding hand fasting ceremony which was conducted by Keith Lloyd. Friends from the UK, Cyprus and Jersey packed the church to watch the wedding blessing ceremony unfold which followed the official part of the wedding at the District Office which took place on the previous day.
The fantastic pictures in the church and the ceremony show the beauty and heart 
warming mood of the occasion and following this Len, who comes from Newcastle upon Tyne and Angie who comes from Liverpool, went with friends and family to a private villa for drinks and nibbles and then on to Efendi House Restaurant in Kyrenia to celebrate this wonderful occasion before taking away their dream union memory by island hopping back to their home in St Helier, Jersey..
