23^rd August – Saturday	Fund raiser to equip the new Tatlisu Ambulance at Ne & Şe Restaurant and Bar in Tatlisu starting at 8pm… Good food and music by Gavin… 30TL with 5TL going to the ambulance fund… To book please telephone 0533 844 9890.

27^th August – Wednesday	The TRNC Cricket Club will be holding a cricket match against the British High Commission on the new TRNC Cricket Club’s pitch at the Pia Bella Stadium in Girne.
29^th August – Friday	Black Olive Cafe Fun Quiz starting at 7pm… 15TL to include supper…. Teams must be pre-booked…contact Vicki on 0533 835 5133 or email theblackolivecafe@gmail.com….
27^th August to 24^th September – every Wednesday	9pm at the Goethe Institute (Ledra Palace). A program of German films with English sub-titles. Admission is free…. Cold drinks and snacks will be available at reasonable prices….For more information contact +357 226 746 08 or sbpo@nikosia.goethe.org
28^th August – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 8pm you can enjoy The Italian Job (1969) …12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available….There will be a prize on the night for the best prop associated with the movie….To book call 0533 839 8764…
29^th August – Friday	Holy Hulabaloo – Youth event for teenagers at The Hermitage… 6.30pm to 8.30pm…If anyone would like to help with the BBQ please join in and see what is happening.

2nd September – Tuesday	The SPOT Water Fun Park day will be held this year at the Lapethos Resort Hotel and Spa …. The entrance fee will be 10TL for both adults and children …all proceeds from entrance will be donated to SPOT… There will be fun games for children of all ages and there will also be stalls with information about turtles and selling items in aid of Spot.
5th/6th/7th/8th September	Richard Chamberlain will be holding an exhibition of his photographs at Bugday Mosque (formerly St Peter and Paul Church ) in the centre of the old city of Famagusta… The Mayor of Famagusta will be opening the exhibition…A chance to see Richard’s wonderful photography on display….

8th September – Monday	RBL Quiz Night at 7pm – Deniz Kizi Hotel.
9th September – Tuesday	RBL Last Night of the Proms in the Park starting at 7pm at The Wild Duck in Lapta…. Bring your own food and drinks as cafe will be closed…. Last Night of the Proms on a big screen…. Members 10TL, non-members 15TL…For further information call Pamela Padden on 0533 873 6876.
9^th September – Tuesday	NCCCT Coffee Morning resume. The first after the summer break will be at The Lodge in Catalkoy starting at 10.30am.
16^th September – Tuesday	Pirate themed boat trip on The African Queen setting sail from Girne Harbour at 3pm returning around 9pm….Meal with meze, salad and fruit. £20 per adult, £12.50 under 14’s and free for under 5’s. There will be discounted drinks available…Music, karaoke, quiz, raffle and disco and prize for best dressed pirate….Places limited to 70 pirates so booking needs to be arranged by calling Art on 0533 861 4873, Brian on 0533 833 3468 or boat owner Mr T on 0542 877 0516…This event is the first of the 2015 Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble in aid of Tulips…

30^th September – Tuesday	Tandem Paraglide in aid of KAR. Jacqueline will do the jump on her 70^th Birthday on behalf of her 11-stone Kangol – Digby Dog….Landing at around 12.15pm at the site behind Bell Foods.Please give support and sponsorship.
10th October – Friday	RBL will be having a Beetle Drive at The Olive Press Bowling Club in Lapta starting at 7.30pm.
11th October – Saturday	BRS Blood Donor Day at The Black Olive Cafe, Alsancak.
13th October – Monday	RBL Quiz Night at 7pm – Deniz Kizi Hotel.
1st November – Saturday	RBL Poppy Walk starting at 11am at JK’s Bar, Lapta.More details later.
7th November – Friday	RBL Poppy Ball – 7pm at the Savoy Hotel, Girne… Dress of WW1 period (optional) or Black Tie.More details to follow later.
9th November – Sunday	Remembrance Service at the Old British Cemetery, Girne. 12.30pm…. Followed by lunch at The Ship Inn at 2pm.More details to follow later.
