Grilled Tomatoes

I have found a great recipe about grilled tomatoes on Simply Recipes which as well has a wonderful selection of other recipes and I am giving you a taster of this on the link below:

Tomatoes are one of the veggies always available and still cheap on our island.

One quick and easy recipe that I played around with this week is to simply grill the tomatoes, cut side down, and season with olive oil, salt, pepper, and sliced basil.
