10^th August – Sunday	2014 North Cyprus Raft Race in aid of SPOT at Guzelyali Beach, Karsiyaka… First race at 2pm. Final date for registration for race and Tug-o-War is 3rd August… For more information see article and poster by clicking here
10^th August – Sunday	The Corner House Restaurant in Ozankoy will be having a fun evening in aid of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips) starting at 5pm. The event has the slogan “Burger off – Cancer” and following some horse racing on the big screen, there will be a be a 10 minute burger eating competition, adults and children’s categories, then live music from Blue Tears to dance the evening away. 11th August – Monday Cancelled	RBL Quiz Night at 7pm – Deniz Kizi Hotel.
14^th August – Thursday	Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy. Starting at 8pm you can enjoy Murder on the Orient Express (1974) …12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn. There are also hot dogs and nachos available….There will be a prize on the night for the best prop associated with the movie….To book call 0533 839 8764…

18^th August – Monday	NCCCT Bingo at the Pine Bay Hotel, Alsancak starting at 8pm. 13th October – Monday	RBL Quiz Night at 7pm – Deniz Kizi Hotel.
1st November – Saturday	RBL Poppy Walk starting at 11am at JK’s Bar, Lapta.More details later.
7th November – Friday	RBL Poppy Ball – 7pm at the Savoy Hotel, Girne… Dress of WW1 period (optional) or Black Tie.More details to follow later.
9th November – Sunday	Remembrance Service at the Old British Cemetery, Girne. 12.30pm…. Followed by lunch at The Ship Inn at 2pm.More details to follow later.
