President Eroğlu: “All letters of agreement prepared by United Nations Secretary Generals were refused by Greek Cypriot side”

President Derviş Eroğlu pointed out that all letters of agreement prepared by United Nations Secretary Generals were refused by the Greek Cypriot side and said “it is very sad that the world states are aware of this reality but they do not accept it”.

Eroğlu also added that if world states do not accept this reality, the Greek Cypriots will not be motivated to make an agreement.

In one of his receptions, Eroğlu referred to continuing negotiation process and said that the Greek Cypriot side still submits proposals at the negotiation table which envisage the return to conditions before 1974.

Big Increase in Drug Trafficking

According to Greek Cypriot daily Fileleftheros, there is a big increase in drug trafficking in South Cyprus.

It was stated that the amount of drugs captured in South Cyprus in the first half of this year is much more than the whole amount of the last year.
