Kyrenia Liman Rotarians Honoured
Two busloads of North Cyprus Rotarians made the trip to Limassol on Friday evening for the handover ceremony of the Deputy District Governor of Rotary District 2452.
Outgoing DDG Christina Covotsou-Patroclou had chosen the evening to honour two very 
special members of the Rotary Club of Kyrenia Liman.
In a happy but emotional evening, Former Assistant District Governor and Charter President Mr Gural Tanova, and Mr Oktay Feridun – a Rotarian since 1959 and the founder of Rotary in North Cyprus – both received Awards for Distinguished Service to Rotary International. Mr Feridun also had a surprise reunion with his childhood friend Dr Argyriou, whom he hadn’t seen for 60 years.
The Rotary Club of Kyrenia Liman also received a Certificate in Recognition of their Membership Development Achievement in Rotary year 2013-14. More information about the club can be found on their website by clicking here
