Charity Quiz Evening in aid of SOS Children’s Village at SeAngle Bar in Catalkoy (opposite the Mosque) starting at 6.30pm… Tickets are 25TL and include the quiz, and a one-course meal….Tickets are available from Cartridge Island in Girne and The Food Lodge in Catalkoy…

14th July – MondayRBL RBL Quiz Night at 7pm – Deniz Kizi Hotel.
17th July – ThursdayCinema equipment video camera  and film reel Classic film event at The Food Lodge in Catalkoy in association with the DVD Shop, Catalkoy.   Starting at 8pm you can enjoy Breakfast at Tiffanys…12TL for the film, a soft drink and popcorn.   There are also hot dogs and nachos available….There will be a prize on the night for the best prop associated with the movie….To book call 0533 839 8764…

19th July – SaturdayMusic Note DJ Mike will be bringing you the sound of the 60’s at The O’Live Bar in Alsancak from 8pm… No fee at the door, no food, no need to book, just go along and enjoy a drink and dance the night away.
19th July – Saturday and.. 20th July – Sunday – (Dawn Vigil)last years event Entertainment at Escape Beach starting at 9.30pm on the 19th July, which is followed by the Dawn Vigil in the early hours of the morning of the 20th… This is the 40th anniversary of the Turkish Intervention to save the Turkish Cypriots of North Cyprus…. A very emotional experience….A solo Turk will be giving an air acrobatic display over the sea which can be seen from the harbour later on the 20th…..You will need to be at Escape Beach early as parking is difficult in this area.

NCCCT Bingo at the Pine Bay Hotel, Alsancak    starting at 8pm. 24th July – Thursday GAU logo sml The GAU Faculty of the School of Performing Arts will be holding their annual Dance Fest at GAU Spectrum Hall starting at 8.30pm…. Entrance is free.
25th July – FridayFriends of the TRNC Emergency Services   Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services are holding a 1960’s Night at the Mountain View Hotel, Karaoglanoglu with Werner and his Steam Machine Disco and the fabulous Ellie with your favourite 60’s music….Tickets are 60TL which includes a delicious buffet supper and all local drinks, and can be obtained from Lambousa Saturday market or call Brenda on 0533 840 7834 or Jenny on 0533 876 1483…
