When you live in Cyprus everyday can be a temptation to take a holiday so in our Portfolio we have now created a Project page entitled “Cyprus Excursions” where we are placing showcase article links to those places we have visited and enjoyed both in Turkey and also Cyprus.

Have you been to Canakkale and the Gallipoli Peninsula and the ancient city of Troy? Please come with us and see the sights and hear the sounds from those places.

We will also take you to Trabzon on the edge of the Black Sea in North Turkey and then take you on a day trip eastward along the coast into neighbouring Georgia.

Back here in Cyprus we travel south into the Republic of Cyprus and spend time in the sun by the sea in Paphos and then travel eastward to gaze upon Aphrodite’s Rock before travelling further and stepping back in time again and walk around the Amphitheatre in the extensive Kourion Archaeological site. For those that like their tipple we even take you to a Famagusta brewery.

For history and culture lovers, then a visit to the Lefkoşa Private Ethnographic Museum of Cyprus is a must.

There are always a few surprises in store when you visit strange places and from a fellow passenger we learned something of the local places and sad history before 1974 when we went to Southern Cyprus.
