KAR Warns of Poisoning

Kyrenia Animal Rescue have given a warning of a case of poisoning where a sheep’s carcass has been found close the KAR Rescue Centre in the Five Finger Mountains so for the time being dogs can no longer be taken out of the rescue centre for walks by members of the public until further notice.

The poisoning of animals  by persons unknown is a despicable act and anybody that has proof of the identity of the culprits should report it to the local authorities.

There was another incident recently of poisoning near the centre when the Forestry Workers found  poisoned food and after it was cleared away, the all clear was given for dog walking to continue again.
