By Margaret Sheard

The Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble is almost over for another year Esentepe logoand what a success it has all been in raising funds for Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips).   It is not quite all over yet though as there is one more event to come and this is an Auction and Entertainment evening on Saturday 26th April at Stevie’s Restaurant and Bar in Küçük Erenköy.

This is the information received from Committee Member – Sue Steel.

“The final push to boost the Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble 2014 target for Tulips will take place at Stevie’s Restaurant and Bar in Küçük Erenköy.

The Auction and Entertainment evening on Saturday, 26th April, promises to be a great night with entertainment by Brian and MTony Wand 300r Swing himself, Tony Wand, both of whom are giving their services for free to Help Those With Cancer Association (Tulips).

Stevie Stockwell, the owner of the restaurant and bar commented: “I am delighted to be hosting the Entertainment and Auction night this year and I know my customers will support this event, as they do every charity event we host.”

Starting at 7pm with Stevie’s special hot and cold buffet for 35TL with 20% going to Tulips, there will be a raffle and of course the Auction, which will start at 8pm.  With numerous lots up for auction, all donated by individual or local companies, there will be something for everyone. Mr Swing, Tony Wand, will start his show at 9pm.

Art Watson, Chairman of the Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble 2014 committee said: “This will be our last function as part of the Fun Run programme. We have some excellent auction lots and plenty of raffle prizes so we are hoping everyone will be generous and help us to swell the final total for Tulips. We know we have already exceeded last year’s total of 42,528.05TL but this event can mean the difference between a good amount and a tremendous amount.”

Booking for the meal is essential and this can be done by calling Stevie on 0533849 4744 or Art Watson on 0533 8655837.”
