Hare-raising evening a great

success

We have received news of the results of the “Hare-raising evening” which was held at Jessics Bar in Karşiyaka on 6th April and this was a huge success. Carole King and Sue Tilt have provided us with an account of the fun and games which took place and they thank everyone for their support for Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips).

“What a terrific night at Jessics on 6th April – the total raised was 3,222.15TL!!! There was a raffle, bingo, quiz and guess the coins in the jar competition. We never cease to be amazed at the generosity of the local community at our fund raising events and we would like to thank everyone who attended and took part in all the activities on the night. Jessics was packed out and everyone seemed to be having a great time.

We would like to thank a few people who contributed so much to make the evening such a success:

Mus at Jessics – for donating a raffle prize and 5tl from every meal and fabulous fish and chips!

Barbara Willbye and Mo Dogacan – for their hard work in making the night successful.

Katie B – for donating her time for the night and getting everyone on the dance floor.

Peter – who stepped in to run our bingo and quiz plus singing a few songs.

Carole Lloyd – who donated the coins of which there was 44.20TL, the winner of this was Catherine Meddes and we raised 260TL from this alone!
