We have received the following information from Kyrenia Liman Rotary about the 2014 Spring Fair in Bariş Park, Kyrenia and will bring you further information as it becomes available.
As part of the Rotary Club of Kyrenia Liman fundraising year, on Saturday the 26th April this has been set as the date of the 2014 Spring Fair at Bariş Park in Girne.
The Fair is planned to run from 11am to approx. 6 pm, and is being organised to involve the Rotaract (ages 18 to 30) and Interact (ages 12 to 18) clubs, with a full programme of entertainment and activities. Excellent live music will feature throughout the event, as well as hot and cold food stalls, very high quality second hand items of books, bric a brac, and clothes, bags and shoes (including designer items), and a mini art competition for children.
Stalls will be organised by Kyrenia Liman Rotary, St Hilarion Rotary, Kyrenia Liman Rotaract and Interact, as well as other Charities who aid the TRNC community. It is a key part of Rotary’s role in the community that we help local Charities in raising funds.
Proceeds raised by Rotary efforts will go towards Rotary projects within the TRNC, including involvement in the major project of the new “mini-village” (planned for near Ercan) that will provide accommodation and employment for over 18’s with physical or learning difficulties.
