Doğanköy Church – Forthcoming Events

We have written previously about Doğanköy Church and the work which has been done to restore it and is still being done to maintain it for future generations to enjoy. Wonderful news is that “association” status has now been granted so that is good news for the committee. Better still is the news that the church now has electricity, which will make it an even more attractive venue for wedding blessings, coffee mornings, exhibitions etc.

Paula Shirley, a member of the committee, has updated us with news of forthcoming events and we can enjoy a coffee morning at the church on Sunday 23rd March. Also a pre-Easter lunch has been arranged at Al Shaheen in Karakum, on 16th April at 2pm. This will be 35TL per person and there will be a choice from the menu shown on the poster by clicking here.

Having attended the pre-Christmas event at Al Shaheen last year, I am sure that this will be an equally enjoyable occasion, so a date to put in your diary. Please book with Paula, details shown at the bottom of the poster.
