1st and 2nd March – Saturday and Sunday	7th Lapta Tourism Festival – 4^th Hisarkoy Orchid Festival. “Walking to the land of orchids” 10.30am and 11am on both days. Opening ceremonies on both days at 2pm. Lots of entertainment during the festival, folk dancing, concerts. Kibris Line Dancers will be performing on the Saturday afternoon.
3rd March – Monday	Quiz Night at Taner’s Terrace, Karakum organised by KAR and Dogankoy Church. Starts at 7pm. Tickets are 25TL which includes a meal….To reserve please phone Mick on 0533 877 4537 or Paula on 0533 830 3256.
4th March – Tuesday	RBL are arranging Pancake Day at The Courtyard Inn, Karakum starting at 11am. 5TL for members and 8TL for non-members…. This will be followed by a Speakers Lunch – “Britannia” given by Bill Hayley BEM RN, this will be 30TL for members and 35TL for non-members….Reservations for both events should be made by calling 0533 859 2451 or visiting the RBL stall at Lambousa Saturday market.
4^th March – Tuesday	The Corner House in Ozankoy are having a Quiz Night. 7pm. 20TL includes Pie & Mash or Fish Goujons & Chips.
5th March – Wednesday	Rafters Restaurant in Ozankoy will have entertainment by Andrew Sings….. Be sure of a good meal and brilliant music by booking a table. Contact Abbas on 0533 849 7512 or 0392 815 2946.
7th March – Friday	The Olive Press will be holding their combined Bingo/Quiz Night which will be hosted by Brian and Adele Thomas. 7.30 onwards.

11th March – Tuesday	NCCCT Coffee Morning to be held at Di Figaro in Karaoglanoglu. This looks like a lovely venue for the event.
14th March – Friday	The Olive Press will be holding their combined Bingo/Quiz Night which will be hosted by Brian and Adele Thomas. 7.30 onwards.
15th and 16th March…Saturday and Sunday	7th Lapta Tourism Festival – 10^th Tepebasi Tulip Festival. From 10am with many stalls selling local produce, entertainment throughout the 2-day Festival, including the Phoenix Line Dancers on the Sunday.
17^th March – Monday	NCCCT Bingo at the Pine Bay Hotel, Alsancak starting at 8pm. The rollover jackpot stands at 1,100TL, well worth trying to win.35TL for a book of bingo sheets and a mini Mars or Snickers Bar for winning lines or a house and of course there is the free raffle as well. 6th April – Sunday	Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble 2014 will be taking place starting at the Magic Bar near Esentepe…..There will be a 2km, 5km and 8km race with registration starting at 8.45am. Sponsorship forms will be available from mid-January and can be pre-requested by emailing esentepefunrunandramble2014@outlook.comMore information to follow later.
6^th April – Sunday	Lapta Tourism and KAR have organised the Fun Dog Show which will be at the Stumble Inn, Lapta Strip starting at 2pm. 5TL for each class entry. Stalls are available at 50TL each.
