English Language performance

The GAU Pre-school Education Centre – The American Nursery School, which provides education under the Girne American University 7(GAU) Group Schools, has staged entertainment at the end of the semester events. Juniors of GAU surprised the audience with their amazing dance performances, theatric plays and English songs. The American Nursery School end of semester event, which was staged in the GAU Cyprus Girne Campus International Congress Centre Spectrum Hall, was attended by a significant number of parents. The plays which were performed and the songs which were sung both in Turkish and English were applauded enthusiastically by the parents. The students have had the opportunity to perform to the level of the English language which had been taught to them during the semester and they “rested on their laurels” after a tiring semester full of computer and English language courses.

The Pre-school Education Centre of GAU – 2The American Nursery School, stressed upon the event that the aim is to provide English Language Development at pre-school level. The plays which were performed and the songs which were sung, both in Turkish and English, which had been taught to them during the semester were all the positive outcome of the hard work during the semester. Authorities also mentioned that, as well as the English language, French is also being taught to the educational units operating under GAU Group of Schools and that multicultural teachers and students provide a significant positive contribution for the individual and linguistic development thus preparing the future for the young generation.
