Nicosia is unified with dance

Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots came together in a dancing activity organised in the northern and southern parts of Nicosia organised under the motto ‘Dance Unifies.’

Within the framework of the bi-communal event also participated by dance lovers from other countries, the amateur dancers danced to Waltz, Tango, Twist and Salsa music at the Great Khan and Lokmaci Square in the northern part of Nicosia and in the southern side of the Ledra Street crossing point in front of Debenhams and at the Phaneromeni Church square.

The event was organised by the Costas and Rita Severis Foundation under the slogan, ‘Come join us to give joy and happiness to the people of our capital city.’
