From Friday 15th November	The Foreign Residents in the TRNC winter venue will now be at Capitano Restaurant in Alsancak and the weekly Friday get-together (Stammtisch) will be from 3pm.
From 9th November for 4 weeks	The Round Tower in Girne are extending the exhibition of photographs taken by Richard Chamberlain during his military service in Cyprus 1954/55. This was a very popular exhibition when it was previously displayed so if you missed it now is the chance to see all these very interesting photographs.For further information contact Linda Smith of The Round Tower on 0533 875 3056.
22nd November – Friday	The Almond Lounge in Alsancak will be having live music and prize draw every Friday and this week from 9pm there will be an Evening with Tom and Engelbert with Andrew Sings….. Prize draw tickets will be on sale. Entry to the Almond Lounge is free For more information call 0392 821 2886

24th November – Sunday	Kyrenia St. Hilarion Rotoract Club will be holding their second St. Hilarion Nature Walk starting at 10am. Map and walking distance to be published soon.
25th November – Monday Please note new venue	Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services will be holding their 112 Quiz Night at a new venue – Santoria Village and will start at 7.30pm. Chicken Casserole with Chips or Vegetarian Quiche and Chips will be available for 15TL per person. 25th November – Monday	Cape Wines are organising a wine and real ale tasting evening at Stone Castle Restaurant in Esentepe, starting at 7.30pm. A light supper and mezes will be available for 25TL per person plus tasting of a range of St Hilarion wines and their new 5 varieties of bottled real ale. 28th November – Thursday	Tulips have arranged a Christmas card-making workshop to be held at the Pine Bay Hotel, Alsancak, starting at 10.30am. Lunch will be available for 15TL (a 5TL donation from this will be made to Tulips). Choice of Omelette & Chips or Toastie and Chips or Salad and a soft drink. The workshop will finish at about 3.30pm to 4pm. 29th November – Friday	The Almond Lounge in Alsancak will be having live music and prize draw every Friday and this week there will be an Unplugged and Plugged Evening with Barry Snakes from 9pm. 29th November – Friday	Anglo-Turkish Association have arranged a British Christmas Fayre event by Linda Smith with narration by Michael Raine. This will be at the St. Andrew’s Church Hall 7pm for 7.30pm start. Members 20TL and non-members 25TL which will include mulled wine and mince pie. Seating is limited so please book by 22nd November by calling Pearl on 0542 851 8377 or email atamail13@gmail.com There will be an ATA rep at the Church Hall on 20th November between 10am and 12 noon to take payments.
30th November – Saturday	St Andrew’s Church Centenary 1913-2013 – Service of Thanksgiving at 3pm.

DECEMBER	Information from The Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services : Please note there will be no Afternoon Tea Talk or Quiz Night in the month of December. Information from NCCCT.Please note there will be no Bingo Night in the month of December.
1st December – Sunday	The Foreign Residents in the TRNC (TFR) will be holding their annual Christmas Dinner at 6pm at The Deniz Kizi Hotel in Alsancak. 60TL for members and 70TL for non-members. 5th December – Thursday	8.30pm at The Almond Lounge, Alsancak – All Star Agency Christmas Party and Showcase. There will be 5 acts to help get you in the mood for Christmas. Tickets 10TL from Bestseller Bookshop in Alsancak.
7th and 8th December Saturday and Sunday	The Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services will be opening their “Santa’s Grotto” at the Mountain View Hotel for the local schools and all children who would like to come along and visit Santa. 12.30pm to 6pm on both days. Children pay 5TL to see Santa and receive a small gift. This is going to be a superb grotto which will delight children of all ages. There will be a photographer present to capture those magic moments.
10th and 11th December.. Tuesday and Wednesday	The Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services will be holding their Christmas Sing-along at the Mountain View Hotel. This is always a popular event so book early to avoid disappointment. Tickets at 30TL per person, which will include a plate of food, are now available from Trevor Hughes at the Dagli Sigorta stand, Lambousa Market or at the Quiz Night. 14th December – Saturday	NCCCT will be holding their Christmas Bazaar at The Pia Bella Hotel, Girne starting at around 11.00am. Come along and see the many stalls and start Christmas shopping. There will be plenty to choose from.

18th December – Wednesday	The group who look after the upkeep of Dogankoy Church have arranged a pre-Christmas lunch at 1pm at Al Shaheen Restaurant in Karakum. This will be 35TL per person and consists of a 2-course meal followed by tea/coffee and a liqueur.
18th December – Wednesday	Royal British Legion Kyrenia Branch will be holding a Christmas Party at The Courtyard Inn, Karakum. Further details to follow.
18th December – Wednesday	Royal British Legion Kyrenia Branch will be holding a Christmas Party at The Olive Press Bowling Club which will include a Christmas sing-along. Further details to follow.
26th December – Thursday	Royal British Legion Kyrenia Branch are arranging Boxing Day at the Races. Further details to follow.
31st December – Tuesday	See the New Year in at Rafters Restaurant in Ozankoy. We will be treated to music from Andrew Sings….. so we are in for a fabulous evening with good food, good company and brilliant entertainment from Andrew and Glen. 2014	A Happy New Year to all
20th January 2014 Please note the venue is now Pine Bay Club Hotel, Alsancak	NCCCT Bingo at the Pine Bay Club Hotel, Alsancak starting at 8pm. The rollover jackpot stands at 900TL. 35TL for a book of bingo sheets and a chance of a mini Mars or Snickers Bar for winning lines or a house and of course there is the free raffle as well. Snacks available if ordered on arrival and these will be served at half time. As this is a new venue please come along to support Carole and Mike and have an enjoyable evening’s bingo.
