The Foreign Residents in the TRNC winter venue will now be at Capitano Restaurant in Alsancak and the weekly Friday get-together (Stammtisch) will be from 3pm.

The Round Tower in Girne are extending the exhibition of photographs taken by Richard Chamberlain during his military service in Cyprus 1954/55. This was a very popular exhibition when it was previously displayed so if you missed it now is the chance to see all these very interesting photographs.For further information contact Linda Smith of The Round Tower on 0533 875 3056.

The Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services will be opening their “Santa’s Grotto” at the Mountain View Hotel for the local schools and all children who would like to come along and visit Santa. This is going to be a superb grotto which will delight children of all ages.

NCCCT will be holding their Christmas Bazaar at The Pia Bella Hotel, Girne starting at around 10.30am. Come along and see the many stalls and start Christmas shopping. There will be plenty to choose from.

The group who look after the upkeep of Dogankoy Church have arranged a pre-Christmas lunch at 1pm at Al Shaheen Restaurant in Karakum. This will be 35TL per person and consists of a 2-course meal followed by tea/coffee and a liqueur.
