‘Joke e Oke’ for Tulips at the
O’live Bar, Alsancak

Hi readers,
Anyone driving pass the O’live Bar, Alsancak on the 8th November 2013 had to stop to see why there were so many cars there, the venue was packed to the brim for 
the ‘Joke e Oke’ evening in aid of Help Those With Cancer Association/Tulips.
The idea for this event came from Rick Entwistle and Steve Gittins who between them wanted to raise money for Tulips in memory of a friend of theirs, Peter Graham, who had been helped by Tulips during his cancer treatment.
With the help of Huseyin (owner of the O’live Bar) they managed to collect well over 100 fabulous raffle prizes and 
our thanks go to all those individuals and companies that donated.
The final figure raised from this night was an unbelievable 6,697.86TL!
Our sincere thanks go to Rick and Sandra Entwistle, Steve and Jean Gittins, Huseyin (owner of the O’live Bar), Nicky Froud and all the entertainers who worked so tirelessly to make this event the success that it was. We also want to say a special thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets and came and supported Tulips on the evening.
