Eduniversal have acknowledged that GAU ranked amongst world universities leading in League 2 Group for “1000 Best Universities in Business Education”

Eduniversal which is located in Paris has reported the “1000 Best Universities in Business Education” for the year 2013 following assessments and GAU is amongst the same group of universities such as Eurasia and Middle East Geographic Istanbul University, Koç University, Bilkent University, Sabancı University Galatasaray University, EMU and Marmara University.

The 1000 universities include:- 256 from Western Europe, 75 from Eastern Europe, 180 from America, 100 from South Africa, 75 from Africa, 50 from Eurasia-Middle East, 70 from Middle-Asia, 144 from the Far-East, 50 from Oceana, in a total 153 countries. This has been reported in www.eduniversal-ranking.com.

The reports were announced at the meeting held in the city of Lima in Peru and indicated that GAU stands amongst “1000 Best Universities in Business Education” for the year 2013 while ranking 3rd in league 2 group as GAU accredited for its curriculum, technological infrastructure and teaching staff.

The Dean of GAU Business and Economy Faculty – Prof. Dr. İsmail Sıla and Head of Business Department – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdar Saydam spoke at the awards ceremony held in the city of Bangalore in India.

Dean of GAU Business and Economy Faculty – Prof. Dr. İsmail Sıla reported to GAU TV that “following the world Eduniversal Congress held in the city of Bangalore-India from 9th to 12th October which assembled the Deans and Heads of the best 1000 Business and Economy Faculties of the world, GAU Business and Economy Faculty ranked third in 2 league group amongst universities of the TRNC and Turkey. There were 200 participants from 52 countries at the meeting, also representatives from 9 countries and speakers from 17 countries. The meeting consisted of business faculties aiming to enhance their quality through an international event. We were honoured to witness GAU taking place in this meeting so successfully”.

The Head of Business Department and Co-ordinator of Accreditation – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdar Saydam stated that “The Dean of GAU Business and Economy Faculty – Prof. Dr. İsmail Sıla and myself participated in the meeting held in Bangalore-India which was organized by the international rating institution of Eduniversal. It has been announced that GAU were placed amongst 1000 Best Universities in business education by the President of Eduniversal. The assessment consisted of 153 countries and over 1000 universities. Not only voting, but other scientific criteria was assessed during the Congress. As the Dean has reported GAU ranked 3rd in 2 league group. We, as GAU, emphasize the significance of accreditations and international institution assessments. In addition to this we are also accredited by IACBE and ECBE. Today we note that universities with no accreditations are not significant in the world ranking. Thus we enhance co-operation with such international institutions for international educational benefit. We are honoured with our success as a Faculty and thank you all for contributing to this success”.
