GAU Republic Run held on 29th

The 29th October Republic Run which is a traditional event every year by Girne American University (GAU) has been held at Karmi Campus
The Run which was organised by GAU Presidency of Health, Culture and Sports commenced at the new Girne road. Almost 200 people joined the Run which was co-ordinated at the GAU Karmi Campus semi Olympic running track, which consists of 4 km of racetrack. The contestants were made up of 5 different age categories.
The GAU Presidency of Health, Culture and Sports, stated that elderly, young and many other people from various nationalities had shown an interest in the October 29th Republic Run.
People who had ranked at GAU October 29th Republic Run were given awards by Head of Health, Culture and Sports – Türkay Akpınar and Sport Co-ordinator – Muzaffer. Türkay Akpınar who made a speech at the award ceremony celebrated the 90th Year of Republic of Turkey.
