VOX POP tête-à-tête

This week on my Vox Pop programme on Wednesday 30th October at 11.00 am you will be able to see my interview with the shop owner, Aras Karabal, of the Secret Window in Karakum.

Aras is the owner of the Secret Window, a very unique jewellery and gift shop. Araf sells silver jewellery and unique Punch & Judy characters made of camel skin from a unique store in Turkey.

The Secret Window has a special skilled jeweller from Istanbul, Turkey, Sevan Sarraf, who has been making jewellery since the age of 13 after learning this fascinating skill from his grandparents.

Sevan demonstrated his skills by making a necklace by hand for us to record on camera for our show  and he uses special precious stones such as Ruby, Pearls, Turquoise, Amethyst and Amber etc in his designs and these are made to special requests from his customers.

This show will also be shown on Sunday the 3rd November at 10.30am so do join us for a very interesting and fascinating show.
