LE CHATEAU LAMBOUSA ACCEPTED AS AH&LA MEMBER
FIRST IN TRNC: WORLD TOURISM GIANT AH&LA ACCEPTED LE CHATEAU LAMBOUSA AS INSTITUTIONAL MEMBER
American Tourism and Accommodation educational foundation – AH&LA situated in Central Washington DC hosted Girne American University Founding Rector and Chancellor of the Board of Administrators – Serhat Akpınar and Vice-Chancellors – Cemile Esenyel and Olgun Üstün and GAU Tourism and Accommodation Higher School Director – Assist. Prof. Dr. İsmet Esenyel.
Joori Jeon the Vice-Chair of AH&LA, which is situated in more than 90 countries and has been co-operating with over 200 universities and institutions for 110 years, has emphasized the honour to be a Global Academic Partner of GAU both in Cyprus and Turkey and that Le Chateau Lambousa will be operated under AH&LA.

The senior level meeting held amongst the Girne American University Founding Rector and Chancellor of the Board of Administrators – Serhat Akpınar, GAU Tourism and Accommodation Higher School Director – Assist. Prof. Dr. İsmet Esenyel and Dulles Rector – Fay Avery consisted of American Tourism policies and the current situation in education opportunities and decisions in this regard. Akpınar also recorded that it is indeed an honour for both the TRNC and GAU that Le Chateau Lambousa has been accepted as an Institutional Member of AH&LA. Akpınar stated that The American College, the first amongst TRNC colleges, will commence AH&LA Hotel Management Programs for 14-16 year old student groups thus enhancing interest in tourism and hotel management for the younger generation.
