2013 Poppy Walk

The 2013 Poppy Walk organised by the Royal British Legion, Kyrenia Branch, will be t
aking place on Saturday 9th November, starting at 11am. The route will start and finish at JK’s Bar in Lapta and will include the new coastal footpath by kind permission of the Lapta Belediyesi. There will be a choice of 5km or 10km for the walk.
The fee for entering is 10TL if registering in advance or 20TL if you wish to pay on the day. Sponsorship forms are available at the RBL stall at the Saturday Lambousa Market or from The Courtyard Inn, Karakum.
The sponsors for the walk this year are JK’s Bar and Dağli Sigorta.
This event is always very popular and raises a large amount for the Poppy Appeal, so time to get out the walking boots and make ready for an enjoyable walk in a lovely area with friendly people.
All proceeds go to the RBL 2013 Poppy Appeal.
