NCCCT Bingo – September 2013

What a fabulous time we had at the NCCCT Bingo night on Monday 16th September at The Ravine in Alsancak. A lovely warm evening with a nice cooling breeze every now and again so we were still able to sit outside to enjoy the bingo with Carole Lloyd and Mike Alican keeping everything running smoothly as they always do.

What made the evening more enjoyable was that the long running jackpot was at last won. Iris Reeves, from Rainham, Essex in England, was on holiday staying with her brother-in-law Norman in Karakum and she was the lucky winner of the jackpot of 1200TL which was called on the 58th number, she was over the moon at her windfall but did say sorry she had scooped the jackpot ahead of the people who attend every month, but that is the luck of the draw so well done Iris, enjoy your winnings and buy yourself something nice.

I also had a lucky evening, for the first time in ages, and won a full house and a shared full house so I was well pleased too.

I was pleased to have the opportunity of meeting Laura, the newly elected Secretary of NCCCT and we took the time to have a chat during the interval to catch up on the charity’s news and future projects and what cyprusscene can do to help promote NCCCT in the future.

There were 44 people playing that evening, so a very good turnout and an amount of 1,355TL was raised for NCCCT.

There will now be a new jackpot starting at 700TL with 50 numbers and this session will be on Monday 21st October at The Ravine.
