VOX POP tête-à-tête

This Sunday the 8th September at 10.30am on my show Vox Pop programme I visit the home of Dawn Büyükertaş in Girne.

Dawn worked in several jobs the U.K. Firstly in local government and at the Lewisham Theatre working in the entertainment offices.

Then she went to the North East of England and managed a pier theatre on  Cleethorpes Beach. She was then the youngest manager in the UK at only 19 years of age.

Following this she became a Red Coat for Butlins. At Butlins Dawn was a singer and an entertainer gaining her experience at a young age. Dawn then met another girl and joined the Eddie Morris Dancers touring the Middle East, the Far East Japan, China and Hong Kong.

In North Cyprus Dawn became an entertainer singing at local restaurants, private parties and she also loves to entertain both adults and children. She has two lovely dogs and a cat.  Dawn also has learned several languages phonetically including French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Filipino, Malay and Japanese.

Dawn has lived in North Cyprus for 9 years and is enjoying her life and pursues her hobby of jewellery making which she displays on her stall at Chateau Lambousa market every Saturday.
