GAU Awarded 2013 Best University in
“Health and Health Tourism”
News has been received that Girne American University has been deemed worthy of the best university award by the Oxford Europe Business Assembly (EBA) Assessment Board located in England and will attend the award ceremony under the “Health and Health Tourism” topic in Montreux, Switzerland.
On behalf of Girne American University, the CEO and Vice-Chancellor of the Board of Administrators, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asım Vehbi, and the 
Director of Applied Social Sciences Tourism Graduate School and Co-ordinator of GAU Tourism and Health Complexes, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmet Esenyel, will attend the “Health and Health Tourism” themed conference together with EBA’s international co-operation from Russia, Belgium and Germany, in a field of tourism and health authority’s establishments.
The Director of Applied Social Sciences Tourism Graduate School and Co-ordinator of GAU Tourism and Health Complexes, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmet Esenyel, has stated that GAU will co-operate in line with health and health tourism. Esenyel also remarked that domestic promotion and development in the field of health will be contributed through sharing of information and experiences thus enhancing quality with the co-operation of the Florence Nightingale Hospital Group and 5 star hotel entrepreneurs.
