PRESIDENT EROĞLU RECEIVED VICE ADMIRAL KEZEK

TRNC President Derviş Eroğlu received the TR Commander of the South Coast Coast Guard, Vice Admiral, Attila Kezek who came to the TRNC to attend the Martyr Lieutenant Caner, Gonyeli Search and Rescue exercise.

Stating that the Turkish Cypriots desired friendship messages to be given instead of increasing tension in the Mediterranean, President Eroğlu hoped that the two communities could live in peace in the Mediterranean.

TR Commander of the Turkish South Coast, Vice Admiral Attila Kezek stated in his speech after meeting the President that they came to the TRNC to attend the Martyr Lieutenant Caner Gonyeli Search and Rescue exercise which was carried out within the framework of the co-operation between TR-TRNC and added that they desired to pay a courtesy visit to President Eroğlu.

Expressing that they have been attending this exercise for years and have watched successful rescue activities. President Eroğlu said that this exercise gives the Turkish Cypriots security and enables them to live in peace and security on the island.

PRESIDENT EROGLU HAS GIVEN TASK OF FORMING THE GOVERNMENT TO SIBER

President Derviş Eroğlu has given the task of forming the interim government until the early parliamentary elections on the 28th of July to CTP-BG parliamentarian Dr. Sibel Siber.

In his statement to the press members, President Eroğlu said that he has given the task of forming the interim government to CTP-BG parliamentarian Dr. Sibel Siber according to the right vested in him by Article 106. of the Constitution and requested she prepare the list of Council of Ministers as soon as possible.

Names for the cabinet are expected to be announced in the coming days.
