APPLIED HISTORY EDUCATION OF AMERICAN COLLEGE IN GIRNE CASTLE
The American College 2nd year primary school students have carried out historical research and examination in Girne Castle accompanied by their teachers.
Students have been given the opportunity to revive the olden days’ periodic events and life styles by wearing the clothes and applying the diet of those people back in that period in the castle which had hosted many civilizations. The students of the American College have explored Girne Castle and the Cyprus History correctly by submitting questions to Ümit Teknikeland Peter Hogan. During the excursion, students also visited the museum in Girne Castle and examined tools used by the people in history.
The Principal of American College, Paula Branch, has emphasized that courses which orientate research and examination provides students to practically learn and preserve the learning for many years.
