The Foreign Residents in the TRNC (TFR)

Last Wednesday 36 members of “The Foreign Residents in the TRNC” had a wonderful picnic in the little village of Pınarbaşı.
It is a large and shady BBQ and picnic location there, under many hundreds-of-years-old trees, very clean and with toilets. A little shop provides you with beverage and other stuff if you like, but normally you bring your own drinks and food with you…. you just pay a very fair price for the tables being used. There is a lot of car parking as well.
We met about lunch time and after a short while of chatting and exchanging the latest news and gossip the buffet was set up by helping hands and believe me, the result was first class!
Numerous varieties of salads and other trimmings, smoked fish fillet, spicy chicken, homemade meatballs, various kinds of bread…. it would take much more time to enumerate everything!
After having had the delicious lunch some of the participants (like me) sat back and relaxed, but others were still active enough to play some rounds of Boccia. There was great laughter and fun when the different “National Teams” competed against each other!
