1st June – SaturdayKANSERLOGOTURKISH sml The Foreign Nationals Band will be doing a Truck Fest Parade when they will be performing on the back of a truck with many stop off places between Lapta and the finishing point in Girne near The Dome Hotel.  For more information and to see the route they will be taking click here.You will also be able to purchase tickets along the route for their concert at Jasmine Court on 8th June, which is in aid of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips).

1st June – SaturdayBritish Residents BRS Blood Donor Day.  10am to 1pm at Girne State Hospital.3 months must elapse between donations.
3rd to 8th June – Monday to SaturdayKar new The KAR charity shop in Girne (back of Fire Station) will be having a half price sale.  There will be lots of bargains so why not go along and see what is on offer.  The shop is open from 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturday.
8th June – SaturdayKANSERLOGOTURKISH sml The Foreign Nationals (Barry Snakes protégés) will be performing at Jasmine Court from 8.30pm to 11.30pm.  Entry will be 15TL per person and there will also be food available for those who want to eat.  The event will be in aid of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips).  This should be a brilliant evening.

11th June – TuesdayNCCCT logo The NCCCT Coffee Morning will be at The Lodge in Ҫatalköy.  Make a note to go along to this very popular event.

12th June – WednesdayMusic Note Kibris Night at the Hill Top Restaurant, Lapta/Baspinar which starts at 8pm.  There will be a menu of 20 cold mezze and 5 hot mezze and a Mixed Kebab for 40TL per person.  As well as all of this good food there is entertainment with live music, folk dancing, children’s violin performance and tap dancing.For further details contact Berke Ertopaloğlu on 0533 834 9878This event is part of the 6th Lapta Tourism Festival
12th June – WednesdayFriends of the TRNC Emergency Services Please note there is a change of speaker for this event and the talk by Dorothy Betts will now be on 10th July.Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services will be holding their Afternoon Tea Talk at the Mountain View Hotel at 3pm when the speaker will be Edward Barrett talking about “Mayors he has known”.To book for this event contact Brenda on 0533 840 7834  or Jenny on 0533 876 1483

17th June – MondayNCCCT logo NCCCT Bingo Night at The Ravine in Alsancak starting at 8pm.  There will be a rollover jackpot of 1,200TL if this is not won at the May event.  A book of 6 cards @ 35TL. Free raffle and the famous Mars bars for the winners.  Pre-order a nice supper of Fish & Chips for 15TL when you arrive to be served at half-time.  A good evening’s entertainment

21st June – FridayFriends of the TRNC Emergency Services Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services have arranged an 60’s Night at The Mountain View Hotel starting at 7.30pm. There will be a “Blues Brothers” act which will be coming up from the South and there will also be Steam Machine with Werner.  The event will be 65TL per person including a Buffet Supper and all local drinks between 7.30pm and 11pm.To book for this event contact Brenda on 0533 840 7834 or Jenny on 0533 876 1483

23rd June – SundaySPOT LOGO sml Lapta Tourism Festival will be holding a Rafts Against Rubbish Race starting at 10am at K.A.S.K. 30th June – SundayRoyal British Legion The Royal British Legion, Kyrenia Branch are holding an Armed Forces Day Celebration event at The Courtyard in Karakum from 1pm to 6pm.  There will be stalls, games and entertainment.  English and Indian meals and snacks will be available throughout the day.  Entrance is by ticket @ 5TL which can be obtained from the RBL stall at the Lambousa Saturday market.
6th July – SaturdayChildren in need foundation The Children in Need Foundation have arranged a brilliant 2-hour concert to be held at the Girne Amphitheatre featuring Legend, Bob Marley & The Wailers Tribute Band.   This is a definite must for those who will be in the TRNC in July.  For more information click here.  Tickets are 50TL and are now on sale at Cafe George in Girne, Property Centre Lapta, and DVD shop in Catalkoy.
