27th May – Monday	Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services will be holding their monthly Quiz Night at The Ravine in Alsancak. 7pm for a 7.30pm start. 15TL includes a meal of Fish & Chips or Chicken Shish, which can be chosen on the night.For more information contact Jenny on 0533 876 1483
27th May – Monday	There will be a Cabaret Night at Wok Around the Clock Restaurant, Bamboo Beach in aid of Tulips. Entertainment by Al August Jnr and Ivan the Saxophonist, plus other acts. The evening will start at 8pm and is by tickets only which are 25TL (to include a 3-course meal) and are available from Al at Bamboo Beach, the Tulips Stall at Lambousa Saturday Market and Best Seller Bookshops in Karakum and Alsancak. 28th May – Tuesday	Black Olive Cafe will be holding a further first aid course based on living in Cyprus. This will include basics of how to recognise problems and how to deal with minor injuries. 1st June – Saturday	BRS Blood Donor Day. 10am to 1pm at Girne State Hospital.3 months must elapse between donations.
8th June – Saturday	The Foreign Nationals (Barry Snakes protégés) will be performing at Jasmine Court from 8.30pm to 11.30pm. Entry will be 15TL per person and there will also be food available for those who want to eat. The event will be in aid of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips). This should be a brilliant evening.
8th June – Saturday	Lapta Tourism Festival – It’s a Knockout. Starting at 11am there will be fun and games during the day mostly involving a lot of water. Entry is 30TL for teams of 6 and the event is in aid of the Kemal Saracoglu Foundation (Bone Marrow Foundation). 11th June – Tuesday	The NCCCT Coffee Morning will be at The Lodge in Ҫatalköy. Make a note to go along to this very popular event.
12th June – Wednesday	Kibris Night at the Hill Top Restaurant, Lapta/Baspinar which starts at 8pm. There will be a menu of 20 cold mezze and 5 hot mezze and a Mixed Kebab for 40TL per person. 17th June – Monday	NCCCT Bingo Night at The Ravine in Alsancak starting at 8pm. There will be a rollover jackpot of 1,200TL if this is not won at the May event. A book of 6 cards @ 35TL. Free raffle and the famous Mars bars for the winners. Pre-order a nice supper of Fish & Chips for 15TL when you arrive to be served at half-time. A good evening’s entertainment
17th June – Monday	There will be a quiz night at The Meadows Restaurant in Girne in aid of Kyrenia Animal Rescue (KAR) and Doğanköy Church. 21st June – Friday	Friends of the TRNC Emergency Services have arranged an 60’s Night at The Mountain View Hotel starting at 7.30pm. There will be a “Blues Brothers” act which will be coming up from the South and there will also be Steam Machine with Werner. 23rd June – Sunday	Lapta Tourism Festival will be holding a Rafts Against Rubbish Race starting at 10am at K.A.S.K. Plaj, Karsiyaka. 6th July – Saturday	The Children in Need Foundation have arranged a brilliant 2-hour concert to be held at the Girne Amphitheatre featuring Legend, Bob Marley & The Wailers Tribute Band.
