RUMBA AT THE TUMBA

We have received great news and pictures via Carole and Sue of Tulips about the event on 13th April at the Tumba Restaurant which is the lead up to the 3rd Esentepe Fun Run. We would like to thank Sue Steel for sharing her information and pictures which we are now sharing with our readers through our networking sites.
In the build up
to the 3rd Esentepe Fun Run on Saturday 20th April an event was held at the Tumba Restaurant in Esentepe on Saturday 13th April which is now also an annual event to herald the start of a busy couple of weeks to raise funds for Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips).
There were more than 70 people there to enjoy the event which started at 4pm with DJ Yulian who had given up his Saturday free of charge to keep the music going and at 6pm came Alex & Laura Kennedy’s curry and a barbeque to feed the hungry guests.
Later in the evening Tony Wand entertained 
for an hour. Tony said that he only ever sings for charity and if he can help he will take the microphone and happily sing. He will also be singing at the George Roper Fun Day at the King’s Bar on Saturday 27th April along with other entertainers.
There was a raffle which raised 514TL then Tony sang again and DJ Yulian finished off the evening with music to dance to which encouraged people to take to the floor.
The evening raised a total of 1,164TL which will go towards the total fundraising efforts as part of the 3rd Esentepe Fun Run 2013.
