6th Lapta Tourism Festival

There are yet more events taking place for the 6th Lapta Tourism Festival and these are a Scuba Dive Treasure Hunt and a 2-day Chess Tournament.  If you are interested in either of these activities please read on.

Sunday 19th May – Scuba Dive with underwater treasure hunt.  This is open to only qualified divers.  The event will start at 9am at the Turtle Bay Dive Centre (behind the Sempati Hotel, Lapta).  Registration must be made by 17th May and there is a 10TL entry fee.

The event is sponsored by Lapta Municipality and Turtle Bay Dive Centre.

On Saturday and Sunday 8th & 9th June there will be a 2-day Chess Tournament at the Lapida Hotel in Lapta.  Entry is 10TL and the events will start at 3pm on the 8th June and 10am on the 9th June.

So here we have two very different events for both outdoor and indoor pursuits which will appeal to people who like water sports and people who like less active pastimes.  Looking at all of the events which have been arranged for the Lapta Tourism Festival it would seem there must be something to suit everyone.
