Thank you from Tulips

We would like to pass on two “thank you” messages from Carole King and Sue Tilt who do tremendous work for 
Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips).
Firstly, a huge thank you to Judy Bristow, who sadly lost her husband Gary recently, for the amount of 345TL which was collected at Gary’s funeral and donated to Tulips.
Carole and Sue send their heartfelt sympathy on Judy’s loss and gratitude and thanks go to her and her family at this sad time.
Secondly, a huge thank you to Steve Templeman and Bidi 
McIntyre who recently held an Art Exhibition in Girne called “Elements of the North Cyprus Landscape”. Steve’s paintings and Bidi’s Etchings were amazing and Carole and Sue hope they enjoyed their first exhibition and that there will be many more to come in the future.
Steve and Bidi had very kindly offered to donate a percentage of their takings to Help Those With Cancer Association (Tulips) and this resulted in a donation of 520TL. Their kind words and generosity is so very much appreciated and they have informed Carole and Sue that they will continue to sell their Cards and make a 10% donation to Tulips.
Great stuff for a wonderful organisation. I have some very helpful books being shipped from UK originating from MacMillan and some other sources particularly supplementary cancer treatments. I propose to give them to TULIPS. I am a lucky survivor of NSCLC. Happy to receive questions from any cancer sufferer and offer counselling support NOT medical counselling. Hi John, thank you for your comment, I am sure Tulips will be very pleased with your books and we will also publish a small article with your kind offer to give some personal support with counselling to cancer sufferers who may feel the need to talk to someone who has had the same experience.
