Creditwest Bank’s Second Bird Watching Event
By Chris Elliott
Sadly we received news, but will unable to be able to participate in this event hosted by Creditwest Bank and as there are still seats available, we decided to share this information with those who perhaps would like to go on this great day out.
Creditwest Bank is organizing the second Bird Watching Activity to see flamingos and other exciting migratory birds in the Famagusta Region on the 22nd of March.
In this activity the guests and organisers will also have the chance to see the Cattle Egrets, which were observed during the last trip in September to Famagusta, where more than 200 birds were sitting on eggs and feeding their youngsters. Also the group can expected to see the endemic Cyprus Warbler and a wide variety of migratory birds, since in this season North Cyprus provides them with the suitable habitat as they are migrating to the north for the summer.
Just like the last trip, Creditwest will host the guests and spend time all together.
Ecologist Robin Snape from University of Exeter and Damla Beton from KUSKOR will guide the Bird Watching event as last time.
Expats who would like to attend can contact Creditwest Bank Corporate Communication Specialist Çağla Akdoğdu to reserve a place. Places will be reserved on a first come first served basis. Tel Number: 0533 860 0028
