Creditwest Bank’s Second Bird Watching Event

Sadly we received news, but will unable to be able to participate in this event hosted by Creditwest Bank and as there are still seats available, we decided to share this information with those who perhaps would like to go on this great day out.

Creditwest Bank is organizing the second Bird Watching Activity to see flamingos and flamingo picture smlother exciting migratory birds in the Famagusta Region on the 22nd of March.

In this activity the guests and organisers will also have the chance to see the Cattle Egrets, which were observed during the last trip in September to Famagusta, where more than 200 birds were sitting on eggs and feeding their youngsters. Also the group can expected to see the endemic Cyprus Warbler and a wide variety of migratory birds, since in this season North Cyprus provides them with the suitable habitat as they are migrating to the north for the summer.

Just like the last trip, Creditwest will host the Flamingos in flight smlguests and spend time all together.

Ecologist Robin Snape from University of Exeter and Damla Beton from KUSKOR will guide the Bird Watching event as last time.

 Bird Watching Program:

08.00 Bus departure from Karoğlanoğlu branch.

08.20 Bus will pass by Çatalköy branch.

09:00 Bird Watching on North Coast

10:00 Coffee at Alagadi

11:00 Köprülü Wetland and lunch

14.00 Famagusta Wetlands (Gulseren Wetland for Flamingos)

17.00 Return to Kyrenia
