6th Lapta Tourism Festival
We have news of more events which are part of the 6th Lapta Tourism Festival and there is so much going on that it is getting hard to choose.
On Sunday 7th April there will be the 4th Lapta Municipality 
Cycle Tour. This starts at 10am meeting at the Akcan Cycle Shop in Alsancak. The route will be St Hilarion – Kozan Picnic area and after the tour a meal will be available at the Kozan Picnic Restaurant of traditional lamb kleftiko, rice, salad, chips and a soft drink at 25TL per person. Entry for the cycle tour is free, minimum age to take part is 15 years old and if you need to rent a bicycle they are available at the Akcan Cycle Shop for 20TL per bike.

On Sunday 21st April there is to be a Rod & Lin
e and Spear Fishing contest. The meeting time for this is 05.30 at Karșiyaka Cross Roads Coffee Shop.

Also on Sunday 21st April there will be a motorcycle tour where the route will be Lapta – Kyrenia – Gonyeli – Yilmazkoy – 
Ҫamlibel – Karșiyaka – Alsancak – Lapta. Following the tour there will be a concert at the Sempati Hotel in Lapta at 1.30pm where Group Garage will be performing.
The tour meeting points and times are:
Kyrenia Bikers Club at 10.30am : Gonyeli Roundabout at 11.30am : K.A.S.K. beach (Karșiyaka) 1pm

On Sunday 28th April we can look forward to a Hiking Tour (with a guide) in the Sadrazamkoy area. There are 
two meeting points – Lapta Municipality at 08.00 and Sadrazamkoy at 08.30.

On Monday 29th April there is a Football Tournament and the fixture is Group Stages and Elimination. The venue will be Lapta 
Football Pitch. The registration fee will be 150TL per team and there will be prizes of 1000TL, 500TL and 150TL. The closing date for registration is Friday 26th April.

So, there are some more of the events taking place for the 6th Lapta Tourism Festival, and I am sure Berke has more in store for the enjoyment of all of us.
