From Wales to Bellapais

We have received news from Carole King and Sue Tilt of an event at Bellapais Abbey on Thursday 4th April when the Cowbridge Male Voice Choir will be performing in aid of Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips).

Having lived in the Cowbridge area of Wales for a great number of years this will be a must for me and I understand that tickets are already selling fast.   There is something very special about the sound of a male voice choir and of course Wales has the reputation of the Land of Song.

The choir will be covering classical Welsh choral pieces plus medleys from popular musicals and hit songs and if you would like to find out more about the choir you can visit their website at http://www.cmvc.org.uk

The concert will start at 8pm (doors open 7.30pm).  Tickets are 15TL per person which includes a free glass of wine or soft drink.   Tickets are available at the Tulips Stall at Lambousa Saturday Market and the Best Seller Bookshops in Alsancak and Karakum.

Thanks are extended to the Ministry of Tourism, Environment and Culture for the use of Bellapais Abbey which will enable all of the proceeds from ticket sales to go to the Tulips charity.

We have seen Welsh Male Voice Choirs at Bellapais Abbey on a few occasions and they have been extremely popular so don’t delay in obtaining tickets to avoid disappointment.  You will be sure of a great evening’s entertainment.
