Cyprusscene are pleased to welcome Nigel Watson as a writer on our pages and he will be bringing some very interesting articles and features 
from the North Cyprus Forum.
Nigel Watson moved to the TRNC in 2004 having made the decision to retire to spend more time with his wife. A successful furniture salesman/ store manager, Nigel and his wife now live in the TRNC full time.
Nigel set up the popular northcyprusforum.net website in 2008 without having any computer experience prior to coming to the TRNC. Despite suffering a stroke in 2010, Nigel continues to develop and expand the website to provide information, news and encouragement to people living or interested in the TRNC.
Born in Colne in Lancashire in the UK in 1959, Nigel left school aged 15 without any formal qualifications to become a butcher / slaughter-man before moving into sales in 1985.
Nigel retired aged 45 just prior to moving to the TRNC and enjoys photography and gardening and he was a keen scuba diver with over 1000 dives prior to having a stroke.
He is passionate about communities and people working together to make a better life and homeland in North Cyprus and decided that joining together with cyprusscene.com and The Foreign Residents in the TRNC to collaborate and share news and articles was the best way to start to achieve these objectives.
