Bacchus’s Amphora Wine Bar & Bistro – Ҫatalköy

We are finding a multitude of choices of restaurants in North Cyprus nowadays, where there is a huge selection of foods from different countries to suit everyone’s palates and one of these is the Bacchus’s Amphora Wine Bar and Bistro where you can sample Spanish Tapas and meals.

The Bacchus Wine Bar & Bistro is run by Cem Tilki and was opened in July 2011, it is situated on the right hand side of the main road going east through Ҫatalköy just past Tempo Supermarket (on your left).  There is seating for 25-30 in their very cosy indoor area and they can cater for around 50 in their outside area when people prefer to enjoy the warm evenings outside.

Apart from Spanish Tapas which they call “little but big flavours”, Bacchus also serve traditional French and Italian cuisine on the alternative menu which they change weekly.  Everything is prepared fresh to order and there is a complimentary starter of fresh bread and olive oil dip.   You might like to try the cheese board after your meal or perhaps call in for wine and cheese.  Bacchus are very proud of their cheese board and say you will feel very special and be very surprised.

Bacchus has its own wine cellar where regular wine tasting events take place and besides the Spanish Rioja wines there are also selections of Italian, South African and Turkish wines. There are also wine accessories available.   So this is another good reason to pay a visit.

There are regular events held at Bacchus Wine Bar and they also host charity events as well as catering for private parties, celebrations, business dinners etc.
