Card Making for Tulips
Carole King and Sue Tilt are as busy as ever and are now organising a card making day with the Christmas cards and other 
greetings cards which they started collecting after the festive season and they have had a marvellous response to this request for which they would like to thank everyone.
On 19th March at the Ravine Bar and Restaurant in Alsancak a card making day has been arranged starting at 10.30am and finishing at about 4pm. Carole and Sue now have another request for volunteers to help to re-cycle the cards and would appreciate any help that can be given, especially from those people who have card making experience.
This is the message from Carole and Sue :
“If you have never made a card in your life, or at least since primary school (like us), it does not matter because we have a couple of people on hand who are experienced and they will be there to guide you, however, we would really appreciate a few more volunteer
s who have had experience in card making and who would be prepared to bring along their card making equipment/accessories to be used on the day.
We need as many volunteers as possible to help make the cards so whether you are a novice or an experienced card maker, please come along – we really need your help!
All materials will be supplied.
The Ravine has not only offered the use of their restaurant free of charge, but they are also offering to make a lunch of Chicken Goujons & Chips or Fish & Chips for 15TL of which they will donate 5TL to Tulips.
We will be starting at 10.30am and finishing approx 4pm so if you can spare a few hours between these times then we would be most grateful as we have a lot of cards to get through!

This looks as if it will be a real fun day as well as perhaps learning the art of card making and there will also be the opportunity of meeting new people as well as supporting Help Those with Cancer Association (Tulips) so, as Carole and Sue have asked, please try and spare some time during the day to go along and see if you can offer some help.
