Girne American College Held “The 1st Child and Communication” Seminar
The American College which provides education under the GAU Pre-Higher education Consortium of Education Group of Schools, has welcomed the new semester with the “1st Child and Communication “ seminar.
First Aid and Fire training was given by expert perso
nnel of the Girne area Civil Defense to the participants who were all staff of the American College in order that they be made aware of all possible accidents or incidents which could occur in the school.
Through the “Behaviour Management” described by GAU academician Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tülin Bodamyalı, gave explanations of the utilization of behaviour management techniques relating to the age and characteristic specifications of the children within the classroom.
Academician, Aytaç Dilek of GAU Pre-School Teaching had further detailed the points 
which must be considered when buying books for children, by presenting the topic of “Child Literature”.
The Principal Binnur Saymaz of American College Pre-school explained in detail about the significance of such realized seminars in accordance with child development and education.
She also added that the seminar of “1st Child and Communication” will be repeated traditionally in future periods.
