NCCCT Bingo at The Ravine

The North Cyprus Cancer Charity Trust held their monthly Bingo Night on Monday 18th February at The Ravine in Alsancak.  Unfortunately this month there was a very poor turnout with only 15 players and most of these were the loyal supporters of NCCCT and of course Carole Lloyd and Mike Alican who give their time to raise funds for this worthy cause.

Nevertheless, despite the low numbers, it was an enjoyable evening and we had a few laughs, especially when Carole did a tongue twister on one of the numbers.   We all like to have a win but maybe another important thing is coming together with other people for an evening’s enjoyment and this is what we did.

I didn’t have a win this time, nor did my sister, but I won a raffle prize which was nice.   The jackpot was not won again and next time the rollover will be 1200TL, well worth winning.  Come on people, Carole needs your support and looks forward to seeing you at next month’s event which will be on Monday 18th March. 

As there were only a few players the profit for the charity was only 77.5TL but it all helps, so not a wasted event and of course some of us enjoyed a lovely supper of fish and chips which is always good at The Ravine.
